Bridal hair and makeup in Buckhead

Bridal is where LaBara started. Josie has been doing wedding hair for years, and we have a makeup artist on staff — so hair and makeup are one conversation and one schedule rather than two vendors trying to coordinate on the morning.

Trials well ahead of the date, day-of styling for you and your party, and a timeline that accounts for photographs starting earlier than anyone expects.

how we approach weddings

The hair is one part. The morning is the rest.

Most wedding-day hair problems aren’t styling problems. They’re timing problems, or a style that looked right in a mirror and wrong in photographs, or a trial that happened too late to change anything.

The trial is the real appointment

We book trials well ahead of the date, with your veil, your accessories, and a clear idea of the dress. Bring photographs of yourself from the front and the side — the mirror and the camera disagree more than people expect.

Hair and makeup, one schedule

With a makeup artist on staff, we build one running order rather than coordinating with an outside vendor on the morning. That removes the single most common source of running late.

The whole party, timed properly

Six people getting ready is a logistics problem before it’s a styling one. We work out who sits when, how long each style takes, and what time we need to start so nobody is being finished while the photographer waits.

Atlanta wedding season books months ahead. If you have a date, start the conversation now even if you’re nowhere near deciding on a style — holding the date is the part that runs out.

services & pricing

Bridal services and pricing

Bridal styling is quoted individually, because it depends on your hair, the style, and the size of your party. The consultation is where we price it properly.

Start here. We talk through the dress, the veil, the venue, and the timeline, then run a trial so nothing on the day is a first attempt.

  • Bridal Consultation Complimentary
  • Bridal Style — trial and day-of Quoted at consultation

what to expect

Your bridal timeline

01

Six to nine months out

Get in touch and hold the date. Peak Atlanta wedding season fills months in advance, and the date is the thing that runs out first.

02

Two to three months out

The trial. Bring your veil, your accessories, photographs of the dress, and pictures of yourself from several angles. We finalize the look here.

03

The month before

Confirm the running order for the morning, the final party count, and where we’ll be. Any extension move-up or color refresh gets scheduled now.

04

The day

We work to the timeline we built. You’re finished before the photographer needs you, not while they wait.

before the day

Color and condition, timed backwards from the date

Wedding hair photographs better when the color has had a week or two to settle, and when the condition is good enough to hold a style all day. Neither happens by accident.

At your consultation we work backwards from the date: when to have your last color, when a bond treatment makes sense, and when to stop experimenting. Six weeks out is not the moment to try a new shade.

Bridal questions

When should I book?

Six to nine months before the date if you can, and earlier for peak season. The trial happens closer in, around two to three months out, but the date itself is what books up. Get in touch even if you have no idea yet what you want.

Yes — we have a makeup artist on staff, so hair and makeup run on one schedule rather than two vendors coordinating on the morning. Bridal signature makeup starts at $250 and signature glam at $150.

We can, depending on the date, the location, and the size of the party. Raise it at your consultation so we can work out whether traveling or having everyone come to the salon makes for a better morning.

Yes. Bridal party styling is $150 per person, and the planning matters more than the number — we build a running order so people are finished in the right sequence rather than all at once at the end.

The consultation is complimentary. Bridal styling, including the trial, is quoted at that consultation because it depends on your hair, the style, and what the day involves. You’ll have a clear number before you commit.

Your veil and any hair accessories, photographs of the dress, and pictures of yourself from the front and side rather than only inspiration images of other people. If you’re wearing extensions or lashes on the day, we want those in for the trial too.

Yes. Special occasion styling and updos are $165, for galas, black tie, prom, or anything else that wants proper hair. Same approach, shorter timeline.
